I took my granddaughter who has autism on the Ozia tour overnight trip to Perisher back on Saturday night. I was on bus 3, and our excellent guide was Sunny.
We were greeted with a smile and efficiency. Sunny kept us informed, and he gave clear instructions so we always knew what was happening and where we had to be. Sunny was such a great guide, and he threw in a bit of humour and shared interesting facts. We made a few pitstops there and back, stopping for a toilet break and meal breaks, and we hired our ski gear at Jindabyne, which was part of the tour. The staff at the hire place were excellent also. My granddaughter picked her favourite colours in the toboggan, and when I told Sunny that she needed to get the same colours, Sunny respectfully put an announcement for people to pick up from the bus. the colour toboggan that they had chosen so to not to disappoint the children who picked their special colour. This was absolutely wonderful because my granddaughter got her coloured toboggan, and she was happy, which meant no meltdown, and we were able to start and end our day happy because she didn't stress out. Sunny was inclusive and respectful, and that one gesture meant everything because that reduced stress for my granddaughter, and I was so grateful for the way Sunny handled this, a big thank you to Sunny. Our drivers were Shaun and Adam, and they got us there and back in a timely, safe manner. There was lots of snow and a sunny day, so it was a great experience. I would highly recommend and hope to go again with Ozia Tours it was so much fun.
