Join us for a unique day exploring a different side of the Blue Mountains. Step back in time as we board the historic Zig Zag Railway for a 90-minute heritage steam train journey. Experience the charm of yesteryear while taking in stunning scenery and fascinating stories of the railway’s past. After a relaxing lunch in one of the charming mountain villages, we’ll conclude the day with a visit to a family-run Roses and Lavender Farm. Stroll through rows of fragrant lavender, discover how essential oils and hydrosols are made, and browse the farm shop for locally crafted products. For a sweet treat, don’t miss the homemade lavender ice cream!

Depart from Sydney City. Address: 24 Rawson, Place Haymarket (Stand in front of Service NSW, near Pitt Street)

Parramatta Pickup

Parramatta Pickup is located at the corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta. Stand Infront of Westfield main entrance at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

Hydro Majestic Hotel (Toilet Stop)

Enjoy a 30-minute break to stretch, use the facilities, and capture stunning photos of the Jamison Valley.

10:30am

Zig Zag Railway Experience

Step aboard the heritage steam train for a 45-minute journey through breathtaking Blue Mountains scenery and historic railway tracks.

12:00pm

Lunch at Mt Victoria or Lithgow

Stop for lunch at Mt Victoria. Choose from a local pub or café, or bring your own meal to enjoy at a nearby park. (Lunch not included)

Lavender Farm

Arrive at a working Lavender Farm. Spend 1 hour and 15 minutes wandering through the fragrant rows of lavender, taking photos, and learning about essential oil production.
