Join us for a delicious day in the Southern Highlands, exploring local markets, a working farm and the fascinating world of bees and honey.

We begin our day with a visit to the Mittagong Country Markets, where you can browse around 60–70 stalls offering fresh local produce, unique gifts, plants and more. Held just once a month, these friendly community markets are a great way to experience the local atmosphere.

Next, we head to Burradoo Park Farm, a 250-hectare (600-acre) working farm that produces nutrient-dense food using regenerative, sustainable and organic-aligned practices. The farm features a diverse range of farming activities, including cattle and sheep, a market garden, cut-flower garden, orchard, bakery and tea house. We’ll spend approximately 2 hours here, including time to enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, we travel to Bowral to visit Bowral Bee Farm and meet Hamish, who will introduce us to the fascinating world of bees, beekeeping and honey. Enjoy an immersive experience with a briefing about bees, honey tasting and a relaxing afternoon tea.

After a wonderful day of local food, farms and Southern Highlands experiences, we’ll make our way back to Sydney, arriving at approximately 4:30pm. - 5:00pm

Mittagong Markets

Explore the Mittagong Country Markets, held twice a month, and browse around 60–70 local stalls featuring fresh produce, unique gifts, plants and more. Enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere as you discover the best of the local community. 1 Hour will be provided at this stop.

Burradoo Park Farm

Visit the relatively new Burradoo Park Farm, a 250-hectare (600-acre) working farm dedicated to producing nutrient-rich food through regenerative, sustainable and organic-aligned farming practices. Explore this diverse farm, home to cattle and sheep, a market garden, cut-flower garden, orchard, bakery and tea house. We’ll spend approximately 2 hours enjoying the farm experience.

Bowral Honey Farm

In the afternoon, we travel to Bowral Honey Farm for an immersive experience into the fascinating world of bees, beekeeping and honey. Enjoy a guided tour with Hamish, learn about the art of beekeeping and discover how honey is produced. The experience concludes with a delicious honey tasting and afternoon tea.
