1 Day Thredbo Snow Tour
About this experience
Keen snow bunnies embark on a short but sweet adventure on our 1 Day Thredbo Snow Tours , travelling from City OR Parramatta to the Snowy Mountains overnight. Set off on a comfortable coach, boasting reclining seats sure to help you grab a few hours of shut eye before the action kicks off. An early morning arrival in Jindabyne for an ideal time to hire discounted snow gear before hitting the slopes at Thredbo. Once arriving at Thredbo, you’ll have 7.5 hours of free time to ski or snowboard. We will make track back to Sydney at 3 pm with a dinner stop along the way before disembarking at around 9.45 pm. Thredbo prohibits the use of toboggans and other miscellaneous snow sliding equipment that is associated with “Snow Play”.

Note: If you book the tour on a Friday, you will depart Friday evening and arrive on the Saturday morning. If you book the tour on a Saturday, you will depart Saturday evening and arrive on the Sunday morning.

Welcome on board. Allow yourself at least 20 minutes prior to departure to meet your local guide for the day. Once all our guests have arrived, we will head down south onto the Hume Highway towards Thredbo.

Corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta
Welcome on board. Allow yourself at least 20 minutes prior to departure to meet your local guide for the day. Once all our guests have arrived, we will head down south onto the Hume Highway towards Jindabyne.
5:00am
Ski Hire Jindabyne
Arrive in Jindabyne for a chance to hire your ski gears (own expense) and purchase last-minute items before heading off to Thredbo. At this stop, morning tea is available to start your day.
7:15am
Arrive at Thredbo
Arrive in Thredbo where our bus will be dropping our guest off. You’ll have more than 7 hours of free time.
3:00pm
Depart Thredbo
It’s time to head back. Enjoy your scenic drive back to Sydney where you will have the chance to see the sunset.
6:45pm
Dinner Stop
On your way back to Sydney, we will make a 40 minute dinner stop for a chance to grab a quick bite. Dinner options are Mc Donalds, Subway, Kebab shop (halal), Olivers, Indian takeway, Red Rooster and a service station.

Bus B with Sarah and bus driver Andrew. Tour was fantastic, everything was on-time, tour guide is so nice and informative. Snowy Mountain Therdbo was fantastic, recommend you to take this tour for a good price 👍

Phoebe was good as a tour guide. The trip ran on schedule without any delays. She gave us carrots for our snowman. We did the 1day thredbo your. Tip: Do your research regarding activities in advance as Ozia mainly organises the transportation only. The seatbelt in the bus was quiet tight and faulty. Just this aspect was a bit annoying for me.

I must say Sarah from bus B has been great. Driver Andrew also doing a good job keeping us safe to n fro. However, the trip would have been better. Sarah mentioned to everyone to gather by 2.30pm. However, 3 vietnamese tourists have no respect for other people time and decided to come at 3.05pm. Everyone was already seated n just waiting to go and im sure sarah called them up. But these 3 lunatics showed no remorse or felt apologetic. They even walked in with a smirk! They had no idea that the rest of us stayed in a humid, hot bus bcos andrew did not switched on the engine until at 3pm. If these 3 lunatics came earlier, we could have made our move in a comforable cooling bus. But no! Sarah is too kind to wait. Because i wish we can all just leave these 3 idiots. And andrew could have just helped us turned on the engine while waiting. Also sarah could explain better like what thredbo offers as we are 1st timers. We didnt get the ski package bcos we thought we will be fully occupied but we ended up doing nothing for the last 2 hours. Still a good trip and hope everyone have a good rest except for those 3 vietnames idiots who made everyone wait! Thank you.

Catherine is kind and beautiful, said the little girl who was given carrot by Cat to make the snowman. Here is the result. We joined the Perisher tour from Sydney operated by Ozia, bus 1, on 15-16 Aug. Cat is welcome and attentive from the time we boarded the bus till we got off after the trip. Kudos to her.

My first time ever bus tour to Snowy Mountain And Shout out to Jimmy from Bus C the only green bus 😆 for his exceptional service with usefull little goodies ✨️💫 and sense of Humor🙌 and Bus Driver Daniel and the other Driver replacement for Daniel Ended shift of the night. We had a pleasant short escape and everything goes so smooth especially with the timing of departure and arrival. Easy peasy guide for hiring skii equipment and recommendation of food to grab it fast when on the rest area. We are group of 8 that depart on 15/08/2026 from parramatta stand. Thank you Ozia Tours. Will defenitely come back next journey with them 💥
